Overview
⚠️This lesson is intended for classrooms that want to show the entire How Blockchain Works video series in a single day. It is not intended to be taught in sequence with the other lessons in this unit, which introduces each video one day at a time.
Students follow along with each video by matching vocabulary from the video, then answering a reflection question about each video. The lesson plan and slides are very sparse and open-ended to allow for improvisation and customization to fit your classroom.

Prompt: The blockchain helps facilitate thousands of transactions each day between people who’ve never met or trust each other. What are some of the ways the blockchain helps ensure this trust or helps make sure people don’t abuse the network?
Beyond Currencies (10 minutes)

Prompt: What’s a real-world situation that you think smart contracts could help with? What might make them better than how it’s handled now?
Marketplace & Price (10 minutes)

Prompt: What’s an example of something whose value has changed over time? What factors caused it to change? Did it go mostly up, mostly down, or mostly stay the same?
